Word of Welcome  

 

Welcome to the office of Advancement Services at the American University of Beirut. This office (aka the back office, Development Services, Development Operations, the Fundraising Infrastructure) is within the Office of Advancement, which includes Development, Alumni Relations and Special events, Protocol, and AUB's Visitor's Bureau. Advancement Services endorses the University’s strategic plan and is in line with the University’s mission. Advancement Services office strives to connect and engage with alumni, friends and supporters of the University. We are responsible for all strategic development services activities, including but not limited to, gift processing and administration, information systems management, data records, prospect research and management, stewardship and donor relations, document imaging, special events, protocol, visitors' bureau and advancement staff training and development and related Advancement budget.

 

Mission Statement:

 

Our mission is to support the mission of the University and its advancement professionals' efforts. We endeavor to process all gifts and pledges in a timely and efficient manner, maintain accurate consistent data in coordination with other departments, offer comprehensive and reliable prospect research information and deliver accurate and most up-to-date prospect management information, provide the proper reporting, training and technology needed to allow AUB to achieve its fundraising efforts, and to ensure a comprehensive and quality program of stewardship. We are also committed to create the AUB experience through special events, promoting the culture of the University and recognizing the generosity and commitment of our supporters. We also strive to ensure that our Advancement employees are well trained and have the proper knowledge and skills required to excel in their career with the adequate budget required for this mission.

    Summer Hours:
    June - August
    Monday - Friday
    7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m
