Current Scholarships

AANA Washington DC Chapter Scholarship
Established in 2004 by the WAAAUB - Greater Washington DC Chapter to support qualified students in need.
  

Abdel Rahman Tabbara Scholarship
Established in 1991 to provide scholarships to needy students.
  

Abdul Aziz Al-Bahar Scholarship
Established prior to the 1970 by Mr. Abdul Aziz Ahmad Al Bahar, BA '53. The scholarship is dedicated to provide an educational opportunity to needy and deserving Middle Eastern youth pursuing a degree in Nursing.
  

Abdul Ghani Hammour Scholarship
Established in October 2009 to support Lebanese and Syrian students in financial need with good academic standing studying Engineering, preferably Chemical and Petroleum Engineering.
  

Abdul Halim Jabre Memorial Scholarship
Established in 1987 by Ms. Bushra Jabre in honor of her father Mr. Abdul Halim Jabre to support students from Beirut majoring in Public Health.
  

Abdul Rahman Al Azem Scholarship Fund
Established in 2014 by Mr. Farid Al Azem. The scholarship covers the full tuition of a Syrian student (preferably from Hama) who demonstrates financial need and is in good academic standing. It will be granted to a first year (sophomore) student in Civil Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at AUB.
  

AbdulMalik and Daed Al-Hamar Scholarship
Established in September 2010 by Mrs. Saed Sawaf Al-Hamar in honor of her late husband H.E. Abdul Malik Al-Hamar to support students pursuing a degree at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, who demonstrate pressing financial need and are in good academic standing.
  

AbdulMalik Yousuf Al-Hamar Memorial Scholarship
Established in September 2010 by Mrs. Saed Sawaf Al-Hamar in honor of her late husband H.E. Abdul Malik Al-Hamar. This scholarship supports students who demonstrate pressing financial need and are in good academic standing.

Abdulrahman Mohamad Al Bahar Scholarship
Established in 2017 by Mr. Fahad Al Baher in honor of his late father Mr. Abdulrahman Mohamad Al Bahar. This scholarship supports qualified Arab students in need.
 
ACTS Scholarship
Established in 2015 by ACTS (Advanced Construction Technology Services) to support qualified students in need at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.
  

Adib Bassatne Scholarship for Medical Students
Established by Mr. Adib Bassatne in 2016 to support qualified medical students in need.
  

Adib Kouteili Scholarship
Established by Mr. Adib Kouteili in 2016 to support qualified students in need.
  

Adnan and Samia Dandan Scholarship
Established in October 2012 by Mr. Adnan Dandan to support students in the Faculty of Medicine.
  

ADS Scholarship
Anonymously established in February 2012. The scholarship fully supports the tuition of one Lebanese student pursuing his/ her studies in Landscape & Eco-Management at AUB. The student should demonstrate  financial need and maintain a good academic standing. The scholarship will continue to grant support to a prior year recipient till he/she graduates with a Bachelor's degree, as long as the student maintains an average of 80 or above.
  

Ahmad Abu Ghazaleh Scholarship
Established in July 2007 by Mr. Ahmad Abu Ghazaleh to support qualified Palestinian students in need of financial support.
  

Ahmad and Shirine El Khatib Scholarship
Established in 2015 by Mr. Ahmad and Mrs. Shirine El Khatib to support qualified Palestinian students in need.
  

Ahmad S. Zaabri Scholarship
Established in 2015 by Mr. Ahmad S. Zaabri to support qualified students in need.
  

Ahmad Sultan Marwan Esreb Scholarship
Established in 2014 by Mr. Ahmad Sultan Esreb. The scholarship supports the tuition of needy Syrian students pursuing their studies at AUB who have a good academic standing.
  

Al Reem Marble Scholarship
Established in 2016 by Mr. Imad Saad of Al Reem Marble to support qualifed Arab student in need.
  

Al-Anoud Afif Al-Mahmassani Scholarship
Established in November 2010 to support qualified Graphic Design students in need.
  

Alarab Education Foundation Scholarship
Established by Mr. Malik A. Alarab as part of his estate planning to create a lasting legacy by which deserving students of Arabic descent will receive the gift of a secular education to increase their career opportunities. Recipients should be only sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students at AUB. No scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen or transfer students during their first year of study.
  

Alfardan Excellence Sponsorship Scholarship
Established in November 2010 to support qualified students in need studying at the Olayan School of Business. The Alfardan Group is based in Qatar where they work in real estate, automobiles, hospitality, exchange, jewelry among other ventures.
  

Ali Abdallah Jammal Memorial Scholarship
Established in September 2005 by the Family of the late Mr. Ali Jammal (Jammal Trust Bank). This scholarship supports outstanding students in need from South Lebanon pursuing studies at the School of Business of at the Department of Economics.
 

Ali Ghandour Scholarships
Established in 2016 by Mr. Abed Shaheen of Infofort, this scholarship honors AUB Trustee Mr. Ali Ghandour.  The scolarship supports qualifed students in need pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

ALMA Scholarship for Medical Students
Established in March 2017 by the American Lebanese Medical Association - Houston Chapter, to support needy and qualified medical students.

Alya A. Al-Katami Scholarship
Established in 2001 at AUB to support financially needy and academically qualified Business Administration students at the School of Business at AUB.
  

Amal Barraj Kamareddine Scholarship
Established in March 2013 by Mr. Ziad Kamareddine's to honor the life and legacy of his late mother Mrs.Amal Barraj Kamareddine.  The scholarship supports qualified students in need.
  

Anis A. Bibi Memorial Scholarship Fund
Established in December 1991, by Mr. Muwaffak A. Bibi in honor of his father Mr. Anis A. Bibi to support needy and qualified Palestinian students studying Business Administration.
  

Anis Mouasher Memorial Scholarship
Established in May 2005, by Mrs. Louly Al-Mouasher in honor of her late husband H.E. Anis Mouasher, to support outstanding Jordanian or Palestinian students in the Faculty of Arts and Science or in the School of Business.
  

Anthony Bing Scholarship
Established in 2009 by the graduated class of 1969 at their 40th reunion, in honor of Dr. Anthony Bing who used to be their faculty advisor. The scholarship supports qualified Palestinian students in need.
  

Anwar Haddadin Scholarship
Established in 2013 by Mr. Anwar Haddadin to support qualified Jordanian or Palestinian students in need.
  

Applied Medical Scholarship
Established in January 2012. The scholarship supports needy and qualified female students at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at AUB.
  

Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development Scholarship for Syrian Students
Established in June 2017 to financially support qualified Syrian students in high financial need.

ASAI Scholarship
Established in 2012 to support qualified students in need.
  

ASD Scholarships
Established in 2014 this scholarship supports the tuition fees of Syrian students pursuing their undergraduate or graduate studies at AUB. The priority of the scholarship is for continuing Syrian students.
  

Asfari-LIFE Scholarship
Established in coordination by Trustee Ayman Asfari and the Lebanese International Finance Executive in 2012 to support qualified business students in need.
  

Asfari-Welfare-Unite Lebanon Scholarship
Established in coordination with the Asfari Foundation, the Welfare Association, and United Youth Lebanon Project in 2011 to support qualified Palestinian students in need.
  

ATFL Scholarship in the name of Joseph J. Jacobs
Established in 2006 to support qualified Lebanese-American students who are in need.
  

AUB Alumni Club of Jordan Scholarship Fund
Established in 1991 by the AUB Alumni Club of Jordan. This scholarship supports qualified Jordanian students in need .
  

AUB Alumni Staff of BankMed Scholarship
Established in 2009 through the support of AUB alumni staff of BankMed. This scholarship supports qualified students in need.
  

AUB Faculty & Staff Scholarship Fund
Established in 2003, this fund is provided through the generous support and donations of AUB faculty and staff to help support qualified students in need.
  

AUB UNRWA-EU Scholarship
Established by UNRWA in 2010 to support needy and qualified Palestinian students coming from UNRWA schools studying at AUB.
  

Ayman Taji Farouki Scholarship Fund
Established in 2012 by Mr. Ayman Taji Farouki (BEN 1966) to support needy and qualified Palestinian students.
  

Aziz Abu-Samra Scholarship
Established in 2015 by Mr. Aziz Anu-Samra to support qualified students in need pursuing a degree in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, with a major in Environmental Engineering.
  

Aziz Stephan Scholarship
Established in 2006 by Mr. Aziz Stephan, Owner and Managing Director of Aziz Stephan Contracting, to support qualified students in need.
  

Bana and Nabil Hilal Scholarship
Established in 2015 by Mr. Nabil and Mrs. Bana Hilal. The purpose of the scholarship is to support qualified students in need.
  

Bank Audi Scholarship
Established in 1990, a scholarship dedicated to financially assist a qualified student in need.
  

Bank of Beirut Scholarship Fund
Established in 2012 by the Bank of Beirut to support qualified Lebanese students in need.
  

Beidas Aboughazale Scholarship
Established in January 2013 by Mr. Burhan Beidas and his wife Mrs. Nariman AbouGhazale to support qualified Palestinian students in need.
  

BFL Group Scholarship
Established in 2015 by BFL (Brands for Less) Group. The scholarship is granted to qualified students in financial need.
  

BLOM Bank Scholarship for Business Students
Established in December 2010 by the BLOM Bank to support two qualified undergraduate students in need (one Lebanese and one Syrian) at the Olayan School of Business.
  

Boosting You Scholarship
Established in 2011 to support qualified students in need.
  

Camille Sarieddine Scholarships
Established in 2010 by Mr. Camille Sarieddine, the owner and Managing Director of Sarieddine Trading, a residential construction company. The scholarship supports Druze students who demonstrate financial need and are in good academic standing.
  

Chalhoub Group Scholarship
Established in 2013 by the Chalhoub Group, a leading partner for luxury brands across the Middle East since 1955. The scholarship to support qualified students in need studying at the School of Business.
  

Charles J. Hinkaty Scholarship
Established in 2014 by Mr. Charles Hinkaty to support qualified students in need.
  

Chartouni Scholarship
Established in 2010 by Mr. Nabil Chartouni to support qualified students in need. The scholarship provides full tuition coverage.  Recipients of this scholarship receive 80% financial support for their tuition, of which 30% is a loan to be returned upon graduation to provide support for future recipients of the scholarship.   The remaining 20% is provided through a work-study program.
  

Dani Amal Azzi Scholarship
Established in 2011, in the name of Dani Amal Azzi, to support AUB students who show financial need and good academic performance.
  

Deutsche Bank MBA Scholarship
Established in 2011, by the Deutsche Bank to provide educational opportunities for academically bright, but financially needy, Middle Eastern citizens at AUB who are pursuing their MBA studies at Suliman S. Olayan School of Business.
  

Dima Healthcare SAL Scholarship
Established in 2015 to support qualified students in need studying towards a degree in nursing.
  

Diraar Y. Alghanim Scholarship Fund
Established in 2006 by Mr. Diraar Y. Alghanim, President of Alghanim International Corporation. This scholarship supports qualified students in need.
  

Donald C. Platten Scholarship
Established in 1992 by Mr. Donald C. Platten's friends, to help qualified but needy students pursue their degrees at AUB. Mr. Platten served as an AUB Trustee for 21 years, for him, AUB was an irreplaceable island of sanity in a critical, fevered part of the world.
  

Dr. Fateh Sakkal Scholarship
Established in 2010 by Professor Emeritus Fateh Sakkal, former chairman and professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at AUB. This scholarship supports qualified students in need in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.
  

Dr. Mansour J. and Patricia C. Naime Scholarship
Established in 2016 to support qualified students in need.
  

Dr. Marwan Mneimneh Scholarship
Established in 2011 by Mr. Riad Mneimneh in honor of his late brother Dr. Marwan Mneinmeh BS '73, MD '77. This scholarship supports qualified students in need studying in the Faculty of Medicine.
  

Dr. Marwan S. Abouljoud Scholarship
Established in 2004 to provide needed financial support to deserving students who want to pursue their Medical studies at AUB
  

Dr. Mohammad Chatah Scholarship
Established in 2014 by Dr. Nadim Mounla and his friends in honor of the life, legacy, and memory of the alumnus Dr. Mohammad Chatah. The scholarship supports the tuition of Lebanese students from North Lebanon who demonstrate financial need and who are in good academic standing. Applicants should be pursuing their undergraduate studies in Economics, International Relations, Political Science, or Public Administration.
  

Dr. Mohammed Tarrabain Scholarship
Established in 2015 to support qualified students in need from Lala, West Bekaa.
  

Dr. Randa Antoun Scholarship
Established in 2014 by The Antoun Family in the memory of Dr. Randa Antoun. The scholarship is awarded to students who are majoring in PSPA at the Faculty of Arts & Sciences.
  

Drs. Imad A. and Sana O. Tabbara Scholarship
Established in 2015 by Drs. Imad A. and Sana O. Tabbara to support qualified students in need.
  

Druze Foundation For Social Welfare Scholarship Fund
Established in 2002 by the Druze Foundation for Social Welfare to support qualified Druze students in need.
  

Edmond and Liliane Moutran Scholarship
Established in May 2014 by Mr. Edmond Moutran. This scholarships supports qualified students in need in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences majoring in Media & Communications and/or students at the Olayan School of Business.
  

Edward B. and Martha E. Smith Scholarship
Established in 2013 in memory of Edward and Martha Smith. Before her death, Martha Smith designated an amount of money to AUB to help qualified students in need pursue their studies.
  

Elias Aractingi Scholarship
Established in 2016 by Mr. Elias Aractingi to support qualified Syrian student in need of addional financial assistance.
  

Elias M. Doumet Scholarship
Established in 2003 by Mr. Elias Doumet, whose father Mr. Michael Doumet was a member of the AUB Board of Trustees. This scholarship supports qualified students in need who apply to the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, and are ranked in the top 10% of their high school graduating class. Students must come from the Christian Brotherhood Schools.
  

Elie Kai Scholarship Fund
Established in 2003 by the International Advertising Association, Lebanon Chapter ,in honor of the late Mr. Elie Kai to support students studying Graphic Design.
  

EMBA Graduating Class Handoff Scholarship
Established by the EMBA Class of 2013. The students came together to establish a scholarship to support bright students who are needy and qualified studying at the Olayan School of Business.
  

Faisal AlMutawa Scholarship
Established in 1990 by Mr. Faisal Al Mutawa to support qualified students in need studying at the School of Business.
  

Farid and Wafa Saab Scholarship
Established in 2011 by Mr. and Mrs. Farid Saab, to financially assist needy and qualified Lebanese students at AUB.
  

FAS General Scholarship
Established in 2016 to support qualified students in need studying at the Faculty of Arts and Science.
  

Fathi Hamze Scholarship
Established in 2014 by Mr. Fathi Hamze. The scholarship covers the partial tuition of three Lebanese Muslim students from the North, preferably from Tripoli, who demonstrate financial need and are in good academic standing. The scholarship will continue to provide support for prior year recipients until the students graduate and as long as the students continue to demonstrate financial need and good academic standing.
  

Fatimah Abu-Ghazaleh Scholarship
Established in January 2013 by Mrs. Fatimah Abu-Ghazlaeh to support qualified Palestinian students in need from the various camps in Lebanon.
  

Fouad G. Khouri Scholarship Fund
Established in 2009, by Mr. Sami Khouri. This scholarship supports qualified students in the FAS and FM.
  

Gabriel and Kimberly Rebeiz Scholarship
Established in 2009 by Mr. Gabriel and Mrs. Kimberly Rebeiz to support qualified students in need.
  

Garbis Gary-Mardig Chekerdjian Scholarship
Established in 2015 by Mr. Gary Chekerdijian to support qualifed Armenian student in need of additional financial support.
  

General Scholarship Fund
A general fund that supports needy and qualified students.
  

George Salibi Scholarship
Established in 2012 by Mr. George Salibi BE '78, this scholarship supports qualified students in need studying in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.
  

Ghassan Al-Mahasini Scholarship
Established 2012 in the name of Mr. Ghassan Al-Mahasini to support qualified students in need.
  

Ghassan Jdeed Scholarship Fund
Established in 2003 by an AUB alumnus, Dr. Fida Jdeed, honoring her father Mr. Ghassan Jdeed. The scholarship supports qualified students in need showing high academic achievement.
  

Gihan Abdelkader Scholarship
Established in 2013 to support qualified students in need.
  

Goguikian Foundation Scholarship
Established in 2010, by the Goguikian Foundation, a scholarship to encourage young Lebanese students of Armenian origin, and mostly from underprivileged socio-economic background, to obtain a university education in Economics, Political Studies, Environmental Health, and Public Administration. The recipients are expected to satisfy the foundation's academic standards, volunteer in social work, and work primarily in Lebanese public sector after graduation.
  

Hamoud and Jamal Makarem Scholarship Fund
Established in 1973 by Ms. Salwa Makarem in honor of her late father Mr. Hamoud K. Makarem. This scholarship supports Lebanese students at the Hariri School of Nursing. In 2007, Ms. Makarem's mother passed away and the scholarship was changed to Hamoud and Jamal Makarem Scholarship Fund in honor of both her parents.
  

Hani Pierre Mecattaf Scholarship Fund
Established in 2014 by Mr. Hani Pierre Mecattaf to support qualified students in need.
  

Hani Qaddumi Foundation Scholarship
Established in 2003, by the Hani Qaddumi Foundation to provide educational opportunities to talented yet economically needy Palestinian students, residing in Palestine, who are studying at AUB. The Foundation is named after Mr. Nabil H. Qaddumi, a former  AUB student. The Foundation's mission is to help financially needy but distinguished Palestinian students, with emphasis on Engineering, Information Technology, and Finance majors, to get excellent quality education. The receipts of this scholarship should agree to sign a contract to return to Palestine and work for an agreed number of years upon their graduation.
  

Harry G. Dorman, Jr. and Virginia Whitney Dorman Memorial Scholarship
Established in 1962 by the Dorman Family in honor of their father Dr. Harry G. Dorman. Dr. Dorman worked at AUB for more than three decades, as a professor of obstetrics and gynecology, professor of pediatrics and physiology, Acting Dean, and then Dean of the Faculty of Medicine. This scholarship provides financial support to qualified students in need at AUB.
  

Hassan and Kulthum Al-Husseini Scholarship
Established in 2001, by Mr. Jamal Husayni to support qualified Lebanese and Palestinian students in need.
  

Hisham H. Tabbara & Marie E. Zouein Scholarship
Established in 2010 by Mr. Hisham Tabbara to support qualified students in need.
  

Humam Jabban Scholarship
Established in 2010 by Mr. Humam Jabban, in his name, to help qualified students who do not have adequate financial resources, complete their studies at AUB. The scholarship supports FEA students, with a priority to those majoring in Civil Engineering.
  

Hussein and Leila Ammar Scholarship
Established in 2010 by Mr. Humam Jabban, in his name, to help qualified students who do not have adequate financial resources, complete their studies at AUB. The scholarship supports FEA students, with a priority to those majoring in Civil Engineering.
  

Hussein Oueini Memorial Scholarship
Established in 2003, by Mrs. Nada Oueini in memory of her father Mr. Hussein Oueini. The scholarship is to be granted to financially needy and academically excelling Lebanese student pursuing his/her degree in PSPA.
  

Ingeborg Sai' Scholarship
Established in 1988, by Mr. Abdul-Rahman M. Sai', BA PA '58. The scholarship is intended to support qualified students who show financial need as they pursue their studies at AUB.
  

Innas Wafa Soufan Scholarship
Established in 2011, a scholarship fund intended to financially aid high-achieving students pursue their degrees at AUB.
  

Isam and Awatef Soufan Scholarship Fund
Established in 2010 by Mr. Wafa and Mrs. Saira Soufan. The scholarship supports qualified Palestinian students in need.
  

Isam M. A. Bdeir Scholarship
Established in 2007, by Mr. Issam M. A.  Bdeir to support qualified Jordanian students at OSB pursue their degrees.
  

Issam and Noujoud Helou Scholarship
Established in 2012 by Mr. and Mrs. Issam Helou, a scholarship intended to support high-achieving students who lack financial resources, as they pursue their degrees at AUB.
  

Jacob Thaddeus Scholarship
Established in 2000, by Dr. Jacob Thaddeus, an AUB Alumnus, to financially support a qualified Lebanese Medical student pursuing his/her degree at AUB. The recipient students would preferably, but not exclusively, be of Armenian Origin.
  

Jalal and Gabrielle Saad Scholarship
Established in 2016 by Mr. Jalae and Mrs. Gabrielle Saad to provide assistance to students in financial need.
  

JH Syrian Students Scholarship
Established in 2016 to provide additional support to qualified Syrian students in need.
  

John Michael Fawaz Scholarship
Established in 1955, as bequeathed in the will of  the late Mr. John Michael Fawaz, AUB graduate of 1894 with a Bachelor of Arts. Mr. Fawaz requested these funds support financially needy students at AUB.  His only restriction was that recipient students should be of two Lebanese parents.
  

John Naim Hanna Dagher Scholarship
Estalished in 2011 by Mr. John Dagher to provide additional support to qualified Lebanese students in need.
  

Joseph Daher Scholarship
Established in 2014 by Mr. Joseph Daher to support Engineering students at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at AUB. Mr. Daher graduated from AUB in 1979 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and he is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Almabani General Contractors, one of the leading contractors in Saudi Arabia. This scholarship supports qualified students in need.
  

Kamal El Tayara Scholarship
Established in 2012 by Mr. Kamal Tayara to s upport to qualified Lebanese students in need.
  

Karim Karagulla Scholarship
Established in 2008, by Mr. Karim Karagulla, and provides full scholarship support to qualified students in need studying in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.
  

KFJ Scholarship
Established in December 2012 by Kuwaiti for Jerusalem to support Palestinian students from the Palestinian camps in Lebanon who are part of the UNRWA program.
  

Khadijah Sabahat Kahhalet Takieddine Scholarship
Established in 2014 to support qualified female students in need.
  

Khaled and Mona Miqdadi Scholarship Fund
Established in 2004 by Mr. Khalil Miqdadi to support students in the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences. Mr. Miqdadi is an AUB graduate of 1970 with a BS in Agriculture. Receipts of this scholarship should maintain an average of 70 and above, and should demonstrate financial need.
  

Khalil Barrage Undergraduate Scholarship
Established in 2015 by Mr. Khalil Barrage, to support qualfied students in financial need.
  

Lama Hatoum Scholarship Fund
Established in 2012 by Mr. Fadi A. Hatoum in honor of his late wife and alumna of AUB, Mrs. Lama Hatoum. The scholarship helps needy and qualified Druze students pursuing their studies at AUB.
  

LD Scholarship
Established in 2015 by an anonymous donor to support eligible Electrical and Computer Engineering students.
  

Lebanese International Finance Executives (LIFE) Scholarship Award
Established in March 2010 by the Lebanese International Finance Executives (LIFE) to provide financial support for qualified students in the fields of business and finance.
  

Maher Abu Ghazaleh Scholarship
Established in September 2009 by Mr. About Ghazaleh to support Palestinian students from refugee camps in Lebanon.
  

Mahmoud Abbas Foundation Scholarship
Established in 2011, the Mahmoud Abbas Foundation Scholarship seeks to provide additional financial support to qualified Palestinian students in need.
  

Mahmoud Dalal Scholarship
Established in May 2008 in the name of Mahmoud Dalal who is an AUB Alumnus (BE Civ.'73). Mr.  Dalal passed away in 2016, and was the CEO of Specialized Contracting Co.(SCC) in Jeddah, a general contracting company for private and public projects in the Saudi Arabia. This scholarship supports qualified students in need from Rashaya.
  

Malak Tamim Sahli Scholarship
Established in February 2013 by Mr. Malak Tamim Sahli to support a qualified female Palestinian student in need from the Refugee camps in Lebanon.
  

Mamdouha El-Sayed Bobst Scholarship
Established in December 2014, by The Elmer & Mamdouha Bobst Foundation to assist qualified students in need from North Lebanon.
  

Mona Hraoui Scholarship in Public Health
Established in June 2017 to partially support the tuition fees of a student in the Faculty of Health Sciences pursuing a graduate degree in Public Health.

Marcel and Jane Saghir Scholarship

Established in 2005 by Malek M. Sukkar in the name of his beloved wife Maria Shaar Sukkar. This scholarship is dedicated to students studying Nutrition.

Established in 2015 by the Esreb family in their father's name to support qualified Syrian students in need.
  

Marwan Hayek Scholarship
Established in June 2012 in honor of Mr. Marwan Hayek, an AUB alumnus (BA '72, MA '74); He is owner/president of Hayek Investments, which he established in 2007. This scholarship supports qualified students in need.
  

Marzouk Jassim Al Marzouk Scholarship
Established this scholarship at AUB. Mrs. Al-Bahar intended to financially assist, through this scholarship, academically qualified students who have limited financial resources at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
  

Maurice Fadel Scholarship
Established in 2014 by Mr. Robert Fadel. The scholarship supports qualified students in need from Tripoli.
  

Mazen Dajani Scholarship
Established in 2012 by Mr. Mazen Dajani.  This scholarship supports qualified students in financial need.
  

Michel Salim Nasser Scholarship
Established in 2010, by Drs. Rana and Rima Nasser in the name of their father. The scholarship is awarded to female students in good academic standing and who demonstrate financial need.
  

Midis Group Scholarship Fund
Established in July 2008. Midis is a distinguished group of information and communications technology companies, known for their advanced offering of software and hardware products, services, distribution, system integration and site solutions. It has now evolved into the Midis Group with over 150 companies and more than 3500 employees. This scholarships supports qualified students in need.
  

Mikati Foundation Scholarship
Established in 2016 by the Mikati Foundation to provide additional financial support to qualified students with high financial need.
  

Mohamad Salim Oueida Family Scholarship
Established in March 2010 to support deserving Lebanese student from Tripoli at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture pursuing a Computer and Communications Engineering degree. The recipients should demonstrate financial need and be in good academic standing.
  

Mohieddine Jishi Memorial Scholarship
Established in September 2004 to support a Palestinian male student studying Business Administration.
  

Monzer Hourani Scholarship
Established in November 2007, by Mr. Monzer Hourani. This scholarship supports qualified and needy students majoring in Architecture.
  

Monzer Wehbe Scholarship Fund
Established in 2010 by Mr. Monzer Wehbe who is an AUB alumnus, a scholarship to make it possible for academically qualified young men and women with limited financial resources attend AUB.
 

Mounir & Jamileh El-Khatib Scholarship for FEA
Established in 2012 by Mrs. Jamileh El-Khatib in memory of her late husband and AUB supporter Professor Mounir El-Khatib. The scholarship supports qualified students in need at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at AUB.
  

Munir Baalbaki Memorial Scholarship
Established in October 1999, by Mr. Ramiz Baalbaki and his siblings to honor the memory of their late father Mr. Munir Baalbaki. The scholarship is restricted to needy and qualified Lebanese students majoring in the following fields of Humanities: Arabic, English, History, and Philosophy.
  

Murex Scholarship Fund
Established in July 2009, by Murex Services SAL. The fund intends to make it possible for academically qualified young men and women with limited financial resources to receive financial assistance to study at AUB.
  

Musa and Amal Freiji Scholarship
Established in November 2007 by the Freiji Family in honor of their parents, Musa and Amal Freiji. The scholarship supports Lebanese students majoring in the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences or the Department of Education, who demonstrate financial need and are in good academic standing.
  

Mu'taz and Rada Sawwaf Scholarship
Established in 2014 by Mr. Mu'taz and Mrs. Rada Sawwaf to help qualified students in need.
  

Nabil Zuhair Haddad Scholarship
Established in2015 by Mr. Nabil Zuhair Haddad n to provide additional financial support to support qualified students who excel academically pursing degrees in either Engineering, Business, Economics, Sciences, Nursing, or Medicine.
  

Nadim Kassar Scholarship
Established in May 2007, by Mr. Nadim Kassar, an AUB alumnus of 1986 and Chairman of Fransa Invest Bank SAL. Mr. Kassar intended, through this scholarship, to financially support needy students who show good academic performance attend AUB.
  

Najib Ibrahim Salha Scholarship
Established in 2009 by Mr. Mazen Salha, in the name of Mr. Najib Ibrahim Salha who built the Phoenicia Hotel and founded La Societe des Grand hotels du Liban. This scholarship supports qualified students in need.
  

Nancy Maysara Sukkar Scholarship
Established in 2005 by Malek M. Sukkar in the name of his dear sister Nancy Maysara Sukkar. This scholarship is dedicated to students in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, studying education.

Established in 2016 to support exceptional Palestinian students in need.
  

Nasser Saidi Scholarship
Established in 1996 when Mr. Nasser Saidi donated his remuneration for lectures giving for the MMB302 course. Mr. Saidi (BA Econ '72), is the Founder and President of Nasser Saidi & Associates and Former Chief Economist and Head of External Relations at the DIFC Authority and Executive Director of Hawkamah, The Institute for Corporate Governance and Mudara Institute of Director. This scholarship supports qualified students in need studying Economics.
  

Near East Scholarship Fund
Established in 2002 under the name of "David Sa'adah Scholarship" and then changed in 2003 to "Near East Scholarship Fund". The scholarship supports needy and qualified undergraduate students pursuing their studies at the Faculty of Arts & Sciences.
  

Odette Atalla Scholarship
Established in 2010 that financially aids academically qualified Palestinian students, who lack a citizenship, and who show need.
  

Oussama Aboughazale Scholarship
Established in October 2008 to support Palestinian students from the camps. Oussama Aboughazale is the director of the Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF)
  

Palestinian Cultural Club Scholarship Fund
Established in May 2014 by the Palestinian Students Cultural Club at AUB to support Palestinians students from the refugee camps in Lebanon.
  

Palestinian Students' Fund - Scholarship
Established in 1973 as the "Gaza Fund". In March 2010, it was reinstated as the Palestinian Students' Fund. This fund provided scholarships to financially disadvantaged Palestinian student.
  

Philippe Jabre Scholarship
Established in December 2004 in honor of Mr. Philippe Jabre who is a former AUB student, Founder and Chief Investment Officer of the Jabre Capital Partners S.A., Switzerland.  The scholarship supports qualified students in need.
  

Rada and Maymouna Sawwaf Scholarship
Established in 2015 by Mr. Mu'taz Sawwaf to support qualified Syrian students pursing their degrees in Medicine.
  

Raffy Manoukian Scholarships
Established in November 2003 by Mr. Raffy Manoukian to support qualified Armenian students in need.
  

Rafic Gazzaoui Scholarship
Established in September 2008 by Mr. Rafic Gazzaoui, an AUB alumnus of 1973. The scholarship provides talented and bright students, who lack financial means, the opportunity to attend AUB.
  

Rafic Hariri School of Nursing General Scholarship
Established in 2016 to support qualified students in need studying at the Hariri School of Nursing.
  

Raji and Fawzieh Sinno Scholarship in Agriculture
Established in May 2017 to provide full scholarships including dorms, books, and a monthly stipend for financially needy and academically talented students from North Lebanon who are pursuing a degree in Agriculture.


Ramez Mikdashi Scholarship

Established in 2007 by Mr. Usama Mikdashi to provide financial support to a qualified Lebanese student with high financial need.
  

Ramzi Ackawi Scholarship
Established in 2012 by Mr. Ramzi Ackawi to support qualified students in need.
  

Ramzi Raad Advertising Scholarship
Established in 2016 to support Lebanese student in the field of media studies or graphic design.  Recipients of this scholarship are given a priority for an internship with TBWA/RAAD.
  

Riad Mneimneh Scholarship
Established by Mr. Riad Mneinmeh in 2015 to provide additional support to one male and one female student pursing their degrees in either civil or electrical engineering.
  

Rifaat S. El Nimer Scholarship
Established in January 2012 by Mr. Rami and Mrs. Melek El Nimer to honor the life and memory of Mr. Rifaat El Nimer. The scholarship is provided to students demonstrating financial need, and who have good academic standing pursing an MD Degree in the Faculty of Medicine, preference is given to a student in his/her second year.
  

Roots Group Scholarship
Established in July 2010 by Arabian Roots Company to provide educational opportunities for academically bright but financially needy AUB Engineering students.
  

RYMCO Scholarship Fund
Established in February 2010 by the late  Fayez Camil Rasamny.  The scholarships supports qualified Druze students in need at AUB.
  

Saad Na'man Azhari Scholarship Fund
Established in 2007 by Mr. Sa'd Azhari to support qualified students in need of financial support.
  

Said Khalaf Scholarship
Established in 2013, by Mr. Said Khalaf to provide full scholarship support to qualified students in need.
  

Sakina Jarudi Scholarship
Established in 1991 by Mrs. Sakina Jarudi. The prospective recipients should be needy and qualified Lebanese student.
  

Salman Al-Jishi Scholarship Fund
Established in 2009 by Salman Al-Jishi to support qualified students in need.
  

Samer and Hiba Al-Rayyes Scholarship
Established in 2013 by Dr. Samer Al-Rayyes. Candidates for the scholarship have to be from Aley, with priority to students from the city of Aley, and should be qualified and demonstrate financial need.
  

Samer Younis Scholarship
Established in 2009. The scholarship assists qualified Palestinian students who demonstrate financial need in pursuing their degrees from AUB.
  

Sami Maurice Atallah Scholarship
Established in 2010 by Mr. Sami M. Atallah. Granted to students with good academic standing. Priority is given to Civil Engineering Students, then to any other students in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.
  

Sami Sidawi Scholarship
Established in 2015 by Mr. Sami Sidawi, to support qualified Syrian students in need of additional support.
  

Sami V. Abdo Scholarship
Established by Mr. Sami Abdo in memory of his late mother Mrs. Julieta H. Abdo to support qualified students in need.
  

Samir and Malak Abdulhadi Scholarship
Established in 2009, by Mr. Samir & Mrs. Malak Abdulhadi. The students benefiting from this scholarship should have a good academic standing and with demonstrated financial need. Preference will be given to students of Palestinian origin.
  

Samira Fadli Scholarship Fund
Established in April 2009 by the. Mr. Samih T. Darwazeh, founder of Hikma Pharmaceuticals in Amman, Jordan. Hikma was the first Arab pharmaceutical company to export products to the United States. Scholarships support bright young Palestinians students studying towards a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  

Saudi Binladin Group Scholarship
Established in April 2009, this scholarship supports qualified students in need studying in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture. Saudi Bin Ladin Group is a highly successful multinational construction company headquartered in Jeddah.
  

Sidani Scholarship Fund
Established in 2010 by Mr. Toufic and Mrs. Veronica Sidani. The scholarship supports the full tuition of one needy and qualified student seeking pre-med studies at AUB. It also supports all miscellaneous expenses, dormitory fees, deposits, or other fees the students may encounter at AUB. The scholarship is granted to a student in his/her first year of study (freshmen or sophomore) and it may continue to grant support to a prior year as long as the student demonstrate financial need and a good academic standing.
  

SPARK - CEC Scholarship
Established in 2015 by the SPARK Foundation to cover the tuition fees of Syrian refugee students pursuing the completion of short courses at AUB's Continuing Education Center (CEC).
  

SSG - AUB Scholarships
Established in 2015 through a partnership with the Association of Specialization and Scientific Guidance (SSG) to provide additional scholarship support to financially disadvantages Lebanese students.

Established in September 2009 by Mrs. Sumaya Abou Ghazale to support Palestinian Students who demonstrate financial need, are in good academic standing, as well as demonstrate strong integrity and character.

Established in 2014 by Mr. Talal Zein to support the tuition of needy Syrian students pursuing their studies at AUB.
  

Teddy D. Abdo Scholarship
Established in 1988 by Mr. Teddy D. Abdo to support qualified students in need in the Arts section of the Faculty of Arts & Sciences. Mr. Abdo is an alumnus who pursued his career at AUB.
 

The Advancement of Women in Engineering Scholarship
Established in December 2014 by Dr. Nayla Nassif. The purpose of the gift was to provide scholarship assistance to academically qualified and financially disadvantaged undergraduate female students enrolled in an Engineering program in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.
 

The Ahmad Dbaibo Memorial Scholarship
Established in 2014 by Dr. Basim A. Dbaybo. The scholarship supports qualified students in need.
  

The Alexis and Anne-Marie Habib Foundation Scholarship
Established in 2010 by the Alexis and Anne-Marie Habib Foundtion to support qualified students in need.
  

The Asfari Scholarship
Established in 2008 by the Asfari Foundation, this scholarship provides full support for bright yet financial disadvantaged students coming from Syria.
  

The Cleveland H. Dodge Foundation Scholarship
Established in 2015 by the Cleveland H. Dodge Foundation to provide support for qualified students in need.
  

The Family of Khaireddine El Jisr Scholarship
Established in January 2014 by Mr. Khaireddine Hazem Jisr. This fund is designated to help needy and qualified Lebanese students from North Lebanon.
  

The Hajj Abdul-Rahman Jamil Hammoud Scholarship
Established in 2014 by Mr. Samir Salim Hammoud. The scholarship supports fully or partially the tuition of one or more Lebanese students from the Hammoud family, who demonstrate financial need and who are in good academic standing.
  

The Makassed - AUB Scholarships
Established at AUB in December 2010 by the Makassed Philanthropic Islamic Association of Beirut. The scholarship intends to aid top Makassed graduates, who elect to join AUB but demonstrate financial need, pursue their degrees from the University.
  

The MasterCard Foundation Scholarship
Established in 2007, by Mrs. Hanan M. al-Bahar. Mrs. Al-Bahar intended to financially aid, through this scholarship, academically qualified students who have limited financial resources at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of AUB.
  

The Ousseimi Foundation Scholarship
Established in March 1992 by the Ousseimi Foundation to support qualified students in need.
  

The Peter Hanna Malak Scholarship
Established in 1980 after the death of Mr. Peter Malak by his two heirs, Mrs. Suad Malak Rubeiz and Dr. Johnny A. Malak from his estate. The scholarship will be distributed to students from the Hanna Malak family at AUB or any other educational institute and the recipients are selected by the AUB Financial Aid Committee. In case there are no Malak students to benefit of the scholarship in any particular year, or in case the amount given is small, the Committee will then donate an amount which is deems fit to the AUB to be distributed to Palestinian or Lebanese students in the Faculty of Arts & Sciences.
  

The Spark of Hope Foundation Scholarship
Established in 2015 by the Spark of Hope Foundation to provide addtitional financial support to qualified Palestinian students in need.
  

The Wellspring Learning Community Scholarship
Established in 2016 to support an exceptional graduate of the Wellspring Learning Community Schools who is pursing a degree at AUB.
  

Thurayya Malhas Scholarship
Established in 2014 by Mr. Omar Malhas in memory of Mrs. Thurayya Malhas. Priority is given to students who are pursuing their studies in Arabic Literature, History and Civilization at the Faculty of Arts & Sciences
  

Transmed Scholarships
Established in 2015 by Transmed to provide additonal support to 10 qualified students annually with high financial need.
  

ULYP - Nafez Mustafa Jundi Scholarship
Established in October 2013 by Mr. and Mrs. Nafez El Jundi to support qualified Palestinian students in need.

WAAAUB - Ottawa Chapter Scholarship
Established in February 2015, by the Worldwide Alumni Association of AUB. The scholarship is an annual fund to help needy students pursue their careers at AUB.
 

WAAAUB Houston Chapter Scholarship
Established in 2016 through the generousity of the WAAAUB Houston Chapter to support qualified students in need.
  

Wael Shtayyeh Scholarship
Established in June 2017 to partially support qualifed academically talented students in financial need.

Wahida Fansa Scholarship
Established in 2010 by Mr. Ousama Fansa to honor the life and memory of his mother, Wahida Fansa. The scholarship supports 70% of the tuition of one AUB student, preferably pursuing a degree at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture who demonstrates a financial need and a good academic standing and it will continue to grant support until he or she graduates with a bachelor's degree.
  

Walid and Nada Abushkara Scholarship
Established in 2008 by Mr. Walid Abu Shakra. The scholarship covers half 50% of the tuition for four students who graduated from an ESOL (Educational Services Overseas Limited) school, demonstrate financial need, are in good academic standing, and are enrolled fulltime at AUB.
  

Walid Joumblatt Scholarship
Established in 1981 by H.E. Mr. Walid Jumblatt. This scholarship supports qualified students in need.
  

Welfare Association Scholarship
Established in October 2013 to support qualified Palestinian students in need.
  

William J. Gossen Fund
Established in 1986 by Mr. William Ghossen before his demise. The scholarship benefits native born citizens of the Republic of Lebanon who are attending AUB.
  

Women's Auxiliary Nursing Scholarship
Established in 2004 by the AUB Women's Auxiliary to provide financial support for qualified students in need.
  

Women's League Scholarship
The Women's League was established in 1919 by the wives of AUB Faculty, who hold their annual farewell party at the Marquand House Garden. In 1999 the Women's League decided to establish a scholarship under their names to support students with special needs at AUB.
  

Women's Scholarship Fund
Anonymously established anonymously to support qualified female students in need.
  

Yumna Hoss Sukkar Scholarship
Established in 2005 by Malek M. Sukkar in the name of his mother Yumna Hoss Sukkar. This scholarship is dedicated to students in the Faculty of Medicine.
  

Yusuf Mansour Scholarship
Established in July 2001 by Mr. Rafic Mansour to honor the life and memory of his father, Mr. Yusuf Mansour.
  

Zahir Fansa Scholarship
Established in 2013 to honor the life and memory of the late Ousama Fansa's father, Zahir Fansa. This scholarship supports qualified students in need.

 
Ziad Anwar Elkhalil Scholarship
Established in 2009 by Mr. Ziad Anwar ElKhalil. The scholarship benefits needy and qualified AUB students from Hasbaya in the South of Lebanon. If in any year there are no students from Hasbaya, the scholarship shall be awarded to any other needy and qualified student.
