A trustee of AUB since 2017, James is the president of the James Family Charitable Trust, a trust that makes grants for charitable and educational purposes. She is a member of various Boards of Directors to charitable organizations in New York City including, but not limited to; the American Museum of Natural History, the Central Park Conservancy, and the United Nations Development Corporation. She is also on the Advisory Board of the Bodleian Library. James is a graduate of Wellesley College (BA ’74) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
