The Suliman S. Olayan School of Business (OSB) at the American University of Beirut (AUB) announced its successful reaccreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International, following a rigorous peer-review visit conducted in November 2024. This achievement retains OSB's position among the world's top 6 percent of business schools that have earned this prestigious recognition.

The reaccreditation signals the school's steadfast commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and community impact, and underscores its remarkable resilience and fortitude amidst Lebanon's ongoing economic crisis, which began in 2019, and the regional challenges, including the war in the past year. Through these turbulent times, OSB has maintained its focus on shaping forward-thinking business leaders, staying true to AUB's long-standing tradition of educational excellence and service to the region.

“Securing reaccreditation amid these tumultuous times reaffirms our unwavering commitment to transforming business thinking in the MENA region," said Dr. Yusuf Sidani, dean of the Suliman S. Olayan School of Business. “It's a testament to our faculty, staff, and students' resilience, and we remain steadfast in delivering world-class education, impactful research, and ethical leadership development—even in the face of adversity."

This accreditation extends to the business programs offered at the Faculty of Business at AUB's branch campus, AUB Mediterraneo, in Pafos, Cyprus, ensuring that students at both locations receive the same globally recognized, high-quality education that meets AACSB's rigorous standards.
