The Btifroz Initiative drives villages and urban neighborhoods to sort and recycle solid waste in a community-minded manner.
It was born out of the research and design of over a dozen tailored interventions with citizens, public authorities, and local NGOs that are looking to improve solid waste management.
Founded in incentivisation and collective action, Bar Elias Btifroz kept over one ton of recyclables per day from being openly dumped or burned while creating nine jobs for the Bar Elias community.
