What is the Debs Center?
The Debs Center is the official North American headquarters of the American University of Beirut (AUB), which is located in Beirut, Lebanon. It is named in honor of Dr. Richard A. Debs, chairman emeritus of the AUB Board of Trustees. The center houses the university's North American executive, communications, development, and alumni relations offices.
A private state-of-the-art video conferencing facility, the Debs Center also hosts lectures, receptions, conferences, and meetings throughout the year.

Where is the Debs Center located?
The Debs Center is located in New York City on the 8th floor of 3 Dag Hammarskjold Plaza. The street address is 305 East 47th Street between First and Second Avenues. It is directly across from Katharine Hepburn Garden.
What kind of events does the Debs Center host?
The Debs Center hosts book signings, wine tastings, lectures, and most prominently a series of transcontinental academic discussions known as Beirut Briefings, which feature academics in Beirut and New York connecting via live video over on-the-ground research from the Arab World.
