AUB has announced that it will close between January 14 and January 24, 2021 in conformity with the new rules of the government-mandated total lockdown.

ALL OFFICE OF THE REGISTRAR SERVICES ARE SUSPENDED DURING THIS TIME. If you have deadlines that fall within the total lockdown period, please explain the national health emergency that has led to the closure and ask for extensions.

We regret the inconvenience, and wish safety and health to you and your loved ones. We also thank you for your kind collaboration.


The start of the spring 2020-2021 semester is delayed by one week and will begin on Thursday, January 28, 2021. Advising, registration, and drop and add are also delayed by a week. For details, please see the announcement under Important Announcements at the right of this page.

  • The Registrar’s Office is committed to providing services in a professional, accessible, and courteous manner to our constituents, including students, faculty, administration, parents, and alumni.
    We receive large numbers of requests that are processed in the order they are received. Most require significant manual interaction. Please plan for the delays indicated on the ordering system.
    Should you want to make a suggestion or comment on the service you have received, please send an email to with the subject line "SUGGESTION." We welcome your feedback.

    The Registrar’s Office supports the instructional mission of the university through managing the student records data base, facilitating course registration, scheduling of classes, issuing of final examinations schedule, issuing transcripts and certificates, auditing degrees, administering catalogue production, and maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and privacy of all academic student records.

    We accomplish our mission by striving for service excellence in everything we do, challenging ourselves to be as efficient and effective as possible in our work, and seeking out new and better ways of doing business for ourselves and the community we serve.

    • For students graduating in summer 2020 (approximately 10 days before Senate): September 15, 2020
    • For students graduating in fall 2021 (approximately 10 days before Senate): February 15, 2021
    • For students graduating in spring 2021 (approximately one week after the end of term): May 25, 2021​


    Opening Hours during Total Lockdown (January 14 through January 24, 2021)
    Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–12:30 pm / 2:00–4:30 pm (during fall and spring terms)
    The Office of the Registrar is closed, and all services are suspended.


    Please include your AUB ID# in any correspondence.


    Document Requests (transcripts, certificates, degree authentications):

    • If you are an AUB student, you may order documents online here. Please charge these fees to your student account. 
    • If you are a former AUB student living in the United States, you may order documents here, following the instructions on the order form for payment of associated fees.
    • If you are a former AUB student living abroad elsewhere than the United States, you may order documents here, following the instructions on the order form for payment of associated fees.
      For all other inquiries, please leave a detailed description of your question at​, and we will respond as quickly as possible.
