While several laws promoting equality in employment in the MENA region exist, they often fall short in practice. To create an environment that truly fosters equality and ensures that opportunities are based on merit rather than social connections, significant work is needed to bridge the gap between legislation and its implementation.
Achieving true equal employment opportunities (EEOs) requires a multifaceted approach that includes reforming and strengthening existing legislation, creating widespread awareness, leveraging technology, and ensuring effective monitoring and evaluation of practices.
In this sixty-minutes webinar, we will provide a comprehensive view of the EEO landscape in the MENA region by:
- Presenting our findings on the barriers to EEO implementation across the MENA region.
- Presenting our recommendations for overcoming these challenges.
- Providing key insights and highlighting pressing issues shared by representatives from eight MENA countries (Algeria, Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, and Tunisia).
