Dr. Zeidan Zeidan is a prominent business leader and has served on SAWI's advisory board since its inception. She is the first woman in the MENA to sign, in New York, the UN WEPs, when she was chair of the board of directors of a leading financial corporation in the MENA region.
Dr. Zeidan serves on many boards including the publicly listed cement conglomerate, Lafarge-Holcim in Lebanon.
She is a skilled financial controller with impeccable strategic vision doubled with her extensive executive managerial experience. She is also an expert in Corporate Governance, financial oversight, and risk mitigation, bolstered by her deep working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Moreover, she is the Corporate Governance consultant of the Harvard Business Club of the GCC and an adjunct professor and executive education trainer in many regional universities.
Dr. Zeidan passion is to empower women in reaching the utmost knowledge and support them to land the best opportunities available in the market, therefore her commitment with the International Finance Corporation IFC to certify women on boards and in leadership role and to mentor women entrepreneurs regionally.
She is heavily involved in supporting SMEs as well. She is currently a mentor and advisor for many SMEs, and she is involved in drafting potential actions to support them and scaling them up.
