  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. AUB offers more than 130 programs leading to bachelor's, master's, MD, and PhD degrees. The main language of instruction is English.

Full Athletic Scholarships

The American University of Beirut will award full (tuition-free) scholarships to up to three highly distinguished athletes.

Apply for the 2025–2026 Presidential and Distinguished Athletic Scholarships by January 30, 2025.

If you wish to apply for the Distinguished Athlete Scholarship, kindly submit an admission application here

If you have leadership experience and wish to apply for the Presidential Athletic Scholarship, kindly submit your application here

Notes:

Applicants must be accepted to AUB for the fall of 2025-2026 to be considered for a scholarship.
The application for an athletic scholarship is separate from the admissions application
